BACKGROUND: Be warned: this is a mouthful. The University of Iowa The College of Nursing (CON) Housecalls Faculty Practice (told you!) is comprised of Nurse Practitioners (NP) also known as ARNP’s (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners) who have a master’s degree in nursing and are licensed to treat various health conditions. CON lacked a brand identity for the Housecalls Faculty Practice that enabled them to sufficiently reach their target market. CON approached the Marketing Institute’s student consulting program to develop a new brand, that would support the program’s mission, allow people with disabilities, health concerns, or older adults who have difficulty getting to a doctor’s office, access to exceptional nursing based health care without having to leave their home.

SCOPE: Create a unified brand for the College of Nursing Housecalls Faculty Practice that will lead individuals seeking medical care to identify the Housecalls Faculty Practice as a quality, reliable service and sway them to want to choose the College of Nursing Housecalls Faculty Practice as their number one provider of medical assistance.
RESULTS: Delivered recommendations for a complete brand identity that included two deliverables: 1) a marketing strategy and 2) a branding package: brand manual, logos, color scheme
