Situation:
The Iowa Women’s Foundation set a goal to focus on growing awareness and engagement on social media. When I joined the Marketing Committee as a volunteer and their chair of social media, there was a Facebook following of 384, and a Twitter following of 436.
Scope:
Raise awareness, increase likes and follows, and increase engagement of followers and other community organizations across social media sites through campaigns and push strategies.
Result:
Increased Facebook likes by 38%, Twitter followers by 15%. Increased engagement across community organizations and engaged in push strategies to leverage community accounts to share fundraising events.
